New Member Aircraft

All new member aircraft will be inspected to assure air worthiness by a flight instructor, safety officer or a board member before it is flown. If any deficiencies are found, they must be corrected before the first flight. Fixed Wing training is available at no cost to all new members.  Dues are pro-rated throughout the year for new members only.

2010 Membership Packet

          Click the link above to get our 2010 Membership Packet that includes several items:  1) A new membership application, which we request all members to complete so our database has all your current information.  2)  A copy of the flight line protocols to ensure safety and smooth operations on the flight line and   3) Copy of the Flight Pattern Map noting the Restricted Fly Zone over the Horse property so we can maintain a good relationship with our neighbors.   Also remember to renew your AMA membership for 2010 and send us a copy or a print out from the AMA website verifying your renewal.

            In 2010, we plan to continue with our four annual events that have been a great success.  We will continue with a Night Fly / Camp Out in addition to the Annual Pig Roast, The Bob Pierce Memorial Fun Fly, and the Chili Cook Off.    As usual, we will have great raffles, demonstration flights and just lots of fun. 2009 was an awesome year for our events, every event was a success and benefited from the tremendous support of our members.

            In 2009, we implemented a calendar which was posted on our website with all the scheduled work parties, club meetings and events for the entire year, we will continue to provide this information and much more on the website. Please check the website often for updates and changes. The volunteer support from the members was unbelievable in 2009, the facility is looking better than ever thanks to you!

            Our club continues to grow and prosper and 2010 looks to be a great year for our club. We have had many improvements over the years and we will continue to develop the Trabuco RC Flyers as the finest Airfield in Orange County.
